Leanne Mader is a corporate governance, M&A, and securities law attorney with over 25 years of experience advising Boards of Directors and executive leadership at major financial institutions and Fortune 500 public companies. She most recently served as Managing Director, Corporate Secretary & Associate General Counsel at SMBC, Americas. Earlier in her career, she held senior legal and governance roles at Seagate Technology, TIBCO Software, Bank of America, and JPMorgan Chase. She began her legal career as a corporate associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Leanne holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona. She is admitted to practice law in New York and California.
