Our Workshop Series at Peridance included a blend of Modern Dance technique, company repertory, improvisation, and collaborative dance making. Exercises and repertory phrase work focused on executing movement with physical clarity, intentional initiation, dynamic flow of energy through the body, compelling dynamics, and surprising rhythmic structures. We explored working with props and creating movement guided by emotional expression.
