June 5, 2016 — Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre previewed a new evening length work, Refuge, at The Ailey Studios on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Our audience enjoyed the energetic choreography with the backdrop of the scenic New York City skyline.

Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre/Notes in Motion was awarded a grant in the amount of $30,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Through New York State’s continued investment in arts and culture, NYSCA has awarded over $80 million since Spring 2023 to over 1,500 artists and organizations across the state.
Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre/Notes in Motion is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
