Hayim Heron, photographer
I am a NYC based photographer and videographer with a well-rounded experience in the arts. Before photography, I performed in off-Broadway shows, sang at LaGuardia Arts H.S., Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space and far off horizons such as the white planes of Israel and the sloping villas of Austria. Taking the center stage had its thrill but I came to realize that my passion was behind the camera capturing meaningful moments forever. Pursuing a BA in Documentary Film at Hunter College I graduated with a keen sense of how to shape a story which I think shows in my work.

I gained experience in many aspects of photography, working at Milk Studios and assisting renowned photographers in dance, fashion and wedding fields, including Roey Yohai, Rachel Neville, Richard Burbridge, Sharon Suh, Tina Tyrell, and Joanna Totolici.

I had my first break interning at Jacob's Pillow Dance's in the hilly peaks of Massachusetts over their 2016 the festival season. They invited me back in summer 2017 and we have continued our relationship since then, I always do miss that place when I'm in NY.

My work has been published in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Huffington Post, The Washington Post, Dance Magazine, The Boston Globe, the Paris Review, Pointe Magazine, Dance Spirit Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine and Yankee Magazine, NYFW CHINA DAY among others. I made an appearance on the Facebook sensation Nas Daily.

Clients include NYFW, Jacob's Pillow Dance, Ballet Hispanico, Hunter College, Brookfield Place, JOIN Ensemble, and Urban Bush Women.
