White Night 2017 was a great success! The evening included an intimate sneak preview of Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre’s newest work Refuge and an opportunity to mingle with the dancers, designers, board members and company teaching artists.  Small plates and cocktails were served throughout the evening as patrons enjoyed brief performances, cooking demos by celebrity chefs, interactive dance workshops, and a silent auction.

Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre/Notes in Motion was awarded a grant in the amount of $40,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Through New York State’s continued investment in arts and culture, NYSCA has awarded over $80 million since Spring 2024 to over 1,500 artists and organizations across the state.
We are honored to announce that we’ve received a grant from [@NYCulture’s / NYC Department of Cultural Affairs’] FY2025 Cultural Development Fund (CDF)!! Art and culture are the heart and soul of New York, contributing to a safer, stronger, more vibrant city. We’re proud to be among 1,078 organizations receiving over $59 million through the CDF - the largest-ever city allocation for the program, thanks to the partnership between the NYC Mayor’s Office and the City Council.
