Nolan Elsbecker, a Wisconsin native, started dancing in college when at age 19. After graduating from The University of Wisconsin—Madison in 2019 with a dual degrees,in Dance and Theatre, they moved to New York City to dance. Nolan performed in works choreographed by Mercy Cunningham, Abdel Salaam, Scotty Ewen, Collette Stewart, Li Chiao Ping, The Seldoms, and Indelible Dance. They also choreographed, produced, and funded a full-length show as a capstone project, focusing on topics of queer identity, religion, society, and gender. While Nolan is pursuing a professional dance career, it also continues to take class, looks for new opportunities, and learns from those around them. They are 200 CYT with goals of training and obtaining more certificates and skills. Nolan is honored to dance with the Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre Company this season!
