Deborah Carpenter

Deborah Carpenter is a Mom, Advocate for kids with Learning Disabilities, Ambassador for Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials, Volunteer/Supporter of the Arts for minority communities, Senior Site Manager in Clinical Research. She is altruistic by nature, comfortable in diverse social settings and matrix environments, and a great communicator. It is no wonder she has sustained a 20 year plus career in Research & Development, playing a role in bringing medical breakthroughs to patients, families, doctors, nurses. Deborah began her career in Clinical Research in 1997 as a Study Coordinator. In 2005 she transitioned from the “site side” to work directly with Pharma. She has worked as a Clinical Research Site Manager for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Allergan (formerly Forest Laboratories), and currently works for Janssen Research & Development (the Pharma Division of Johnson & Johnson). Deborah’s therapeutic area experience includes- Cardiovascular, Metabolic Studies, GI, Respiratory, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Neuroscience. Outside of her primary role, at Janssen, Deborah is also involved as a Site Manager Trainer, an Ambassador for Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials, and a Digital Solutions Global Ambassador.
